Nathan stared at the television, then looked to his father.

Sasha stepped slowly from the kitchen, the dish towel still in her hand.

One speaker after another used language so polished it almost seemed rehearsed for decades. Humanity entering a new age. Lasting peace. Shared security. Old divisions healed. New agreements in place. Hope at last.

The room stayed perfectly still until Nathan finally whispered, “That’s the words.”

Samuel nodded once.

He felt the force of the moment—not because he believed the declaration, but because prophecy heard from a platform was one thing. Prophetic language spoken through every screen in the world was another.
